I was told the shot contained instructions to teach my RNA to make a spike protein...I immediately thought "how do I know there is an off switch"? I decided my life was more important than a donut.

Can you get the AI to produce the reference list for evidential claims. I have noticed in a previous episode or two that an actual fact answer of who to call exactly is not in the algo. The algo is not bad for teaching some elements of criticism or analytic process categorical thinking EXCEPT that it assumes the false virtues of fields like Public Health and it’s rights to sit at the table of policy development since it has broadened its purview to encompass ALL things. But, I could see using exercises like yours to set critical thinking problems before learners -- something like 🔥 examine the Helps You Think About A Problem algo and identify the tropes of analysis and synthesis that deserve to be challenged. I note that you have written about the ever present references to “complexity” which operate hypnotically in the algo to shut down the mind. I think taking apart the mind numbing tropes and idea grams is helpful training for dealing w Mass Media exposures. At a more advanced level, I would say that Medicine has a number of tropes that should sound alarm bells -- especially since we have seen for some time the major journal editors warnings about falsification, Prof Ioannidis’ excoriations of RCTs for base assumption errors and Systemic Review/ Metaanalysis malpractice and frauds, debates on confidence statistics manipulations especially in novel research, the Cochrane Collaboration corruption and cowardice.... etc. Dr Winey -- the chat series can be so helpful in terms of identifying where the algo takes on off the rails. Of course, I always hear the sweet and calming voice of Hal from Space Odyssey diligently smoothing over frustration like a Stepford Nanny when the user gets rambunctious. Thing is ...whatever we encounter enough starts to habituate and shape us... especially if there’s sugar coated POISONOUS CONVENIENCE on offer. We do like our conveniences... eh? Thanks for the essay and all your many works 💜
